-Swimwear and two towels. One to sit on while using the sauna for hygiene reasons and another to dry yourself off.
-Plenty of water to rehydrate.
-Warm clothing to put on after your sauna.
-Flip-flops, Swimming shoes or a robe will be useful if you are transferring from the Sauna to the sea as the beach is stony so can be sore underfoot.
-There is no separate changing area so please travel light.
- There is an outside storage box to store any of your items to keep dry while using the sauna. All items placed in the outside storage box are left at your own risk.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday first sauna session is 10am with last session at 4pm each of these days.
During the festive season the sauna may open outwith these set days so keep an eye on our social updates or on the sauna calendar.
The sauna is located to the side of the quay pier. if you walk down the pier past the pier shelter you will be able to access the sauna easily.
The sauna is ran by us at Eider Bakery which is situated across from the Quay so if you fancy a warm drink and a sweet treat after your sauna experience come and say hello.
Port Bannatyne shore road has plenty of parking very close to the pier with no double yellow lines.
If we can ask you to be respectful of the bus stop areas.
Public toilets can be located approx 100m towards the marina at the local park however if the bakery is open we have a toilet closer that can be used.
Please be aware in the case that a weather warning for our area is issued which we believe can put the sauna user’s safety is at risk we will be permitted to cancel your appointment and issue a refund or reschedule your appointment. We will always contact you 48hours before hand to inform you of our decision.
You may reschedule or cancel all appointments up to 48 hrs before the session.
Refunds can be requested if your appointment is cancelled up to 48 hours before your appointment.
